Blog post #2 Richard Flores The concepts of education ENG 121

With Freire's argument I agree with his education views as he sees education as a practice of freedom and should be welcomed by all. The ‘banking' concept of education can be useful though only in the right teachings. As I feel if the information is too complicated and tactical where it's best for the students to better understand the information my just sitting and taking it all in would be best for them to actually get the information being given to them then that's where I would see that is okay to use the banking concepts of education. But like for examples where there is places where they have strict hold on education and everything surrounding it is so important to the cultures there is no one to tell them it is bad to use the banking concept of education  causes to their culture it is the higher up know everything regardless if they do or not they are healed themselves up to that standards so everyone under them sees that and just auto mactilly thinks that's what it is. In the United States this will never fly anywhere other than college level of how to “properly '' teach children but not letting them think for themselves will not help prepare for real world problems when it's only them for themselves and have no one to turn to. It will be impossible for people who were grown up learning by “The banking concept of education” kids wouldn't be able to develop the skills needed to adapt to situations as just being told what the information and trying to just soak it all up will go downhill on their developmental state. I personally think these banking concepts of education should only be teached to the advanced history where you just consume the knowledge given by the teacher as there wouldn't be a way for the students to actually give back information to expand on the ideas.
